We know from interviews with Rockstar that GTA V is about 3.5 times bigger than Red Dead Redemption, and now a map leaked on the GTA V Subreddit appears to confirm this. If you want the map of GTA V to remain a secret until September 17th, don’t scroll down!

The image is likely to have come from a ‘Brady Games’ guide to GTA V that has been sold or obtained early. The map looks convincing, and is in line with what we expected. There is one city, Los Santos, and a small town called Grapeseed, where the unhinged Trevor lives.

There’s an impressive amount of countryside away from Los Santos, and it looks like there will be plenty to explore once we get our hands on the game. At the foot of the enormous Mount Chiliad, there’s a huge lake called Alamo Sea, and on it’s southern shore the Grand Senora Desert.

While GTA IV’s Liberty City was certainly densely packed, it looks like there will be much more to see and do in GTA V’s huge world.
